Do you ever read a quote that changes your life? I guess changing your life is a strong way to put it, but maybe it makes you go “hmm…” or “that makes so much sense”. I love a good quote (and a good printable, but that’s a different story).
Sometimes when anxiety hits, it’s hard to see or think clearly, and you just need something to bring you back down to reality, to know you are in control, and that everything is okay.
I believe quotes and affirmations can do just that!
Affirmations might seem like such a small thing, but they help in a big way. We train our minds to think. So, if we have trained our minds to be negative and worrisome; then we can certainly train it to do the opposite!
At first, repeating positive affirmations to yourself might seem like you are lying to yourself, and maybe at first you are. But the more you think it, the more you believe it, and the more you believe it, the more you become it! We have to think and believe what we want to become! It’s a process, it doesn’t just happen, unfortunately.
These are the quotes that I have read over the past couple years that have caused me to stop and think differently. They can be used as daily affirmations, a display in your home, or a journal prompt.
